Apizza Abatè at The Lodge: Warm Hospitality & Delicious NY-Style Thin Crust Pizza in East Haven, CT

My family and I love the lodge! The environment is so warm and welcoming you feel like you are part of the family. The food is excellent as well, the antipasto, broccoli rabe and sausage and NY style calamari are some of my favorites so far! The staff is so friendly and accommodating I can’t recommend enough, glad to have such a great addition to the area.

Just want to start by saying the place is beautiful and welcoming ! As long as the owner and the waiters. Came here for the first time and not a single bad thing to say ! Everything was absolutely amazing from the service to the food will definitely be returning here often !

Best kept secret out there great prices great food and even better Pizza thin crust excellent. Friendly staff and live music on the weekends does it get any better! Look for their specials during the week, can’t beat them!!!

This is one of our go-to spots! We probably eat here 2-3 times a month. The atmosphere is incredibly warm and the food and service has always been top notch.

Loved my experience! They gave me a free small apizza no purchase necessary, that alone says a lot about the company. Great apizza, thin and the perfect amount of mozz, just how I like it. Recommend!

I've been to several parties since they reopened in July. What's so special about this restaurant is that it can transform to meet your party vision. I personally had my husband's 50th birthday party there which was a relaxed football Sunday vibe. I've been to a beautiful, elegant baby shower and also the most fun and festive Christmas party. The food is always amazing and the staff is so kind. If you go anytime soon try the White Christmas martini.. delish! Definitely a hidden gem!

Received a flyer in the mail for a small moots pie. I ordered that plus escarole white bean soup and a salad with meatballs for take-out. Since it's new and very close to Morris Cove I wanted to sample more than pizza. I enjoyed everything I ordered plus it's a nice looking interior with a fireplace. The bar has a large TV for sports. I'll be going back with friends.

The Lodge at Silver Sands - a newly opened hidden gem in East Haven with a menu full of delicious comfort food and unique entrees, 10/10 presentation on dishes, and a cozy vibe. We visited last night and started off with appetizers of the maple buffalo and garlic parm wings, as well as their honey bourbon mozzarella sticks. The wings were crispy and a great size, and the homemade pesto sauce with the garlic parm wings was a nice touch. I had never tried a mozzarella stick with a sweet flavor like honey bourbon before, and I was really impressed! My boyfriend took down “The Beast” burger for his meal, which is one pound of pure Omaha beef, topped with applewood smoked bacon, beer cheese sauce, and the Lodge’s homemade maple buffalo sauce. It was cooked perfectly to medium rare as he requested, and he would gladly take down another one! I had their mac and cheese, and I loved that they used shells for pasta and that it was served in a cast iron pot. You could definitely taste the beer used in the cheese, but it was a great flavor that I enjoyed. We ended the night with their homemade tiramisu and left very full and happy. They have a huge fireplace that will be nice to cozy up by in the winter months, TVs for you to watch the game, and a bar with a wide variety to choose from! My boyfriend chose Oban 14 year whisky with his meal. You don’t have to be a member of the Silver Sands club to dine here, so head down to East Haven - The Lodge is waiting for you!
